Programme content
This programme combines basic business knowledge with specialist knowledge from all sub-disciplines of tourism and perfectly prepares you for the latest requirements in the tourism industry.
Consistently growing sales figures are not the only reason that many school leavers seek a career in the tourism industry. The diversity of tasks offered, the lure of working abroad, dealing with people of various cultures and the many creative opportunities make the world of a travel a popular employer.
Companies, whether travel agents, airlines or shipping companies, hotels or even restaurants are always looking for new ideas to meet their guests' wishes - and it is particularly these companies that often have junior employees with outstanding training, practical experience, knowledge of the industry and an excellent education in foreign languages, business know-how and a confident appearance.
For example, graduates of hotel management schools or trained travel agents rarely bring along this combination. While they master sub-disciplines they do not have a generalist-orientated knowledge of an industry in which the awareness of interrelations as well as customer's wishes is of particular importance.
